Chinese ancient grappling sport which have existed for over 6,000 years. The real creators are unknown but many ancient Chinese legends talk about the legendary Yellow Emperor who commanded his soldiers training this sport as exercise.
Chinese Wrestling sport have many other names like Jiao Di, Shuai Chiao, Liao Jiao, Guan Jiao, Buku and Jiao Li. The name "Shuai Jiao" was chosen by the Central Guoshu Institute as it official modern name in 1928 when modern competition rules were standardized.
