Why Bouncing Footwork Is Unsafe For Real Fight

Bouncing Footwork (also called as Skipping Footwork) is a kind of footwork where the fighter standing on their front toe and hopping everywhere, imitating Rope Skipping jumping move.

In Boxing tournament, you can use this footwork safely without worry, because sweep and low kicks are not permitted there.

Sadly, this footwork is unsafe for asian martial art tournaments (like Karate, Panantukan, Kungfu, Kuntao and Silat) or real street fight situation where fighters are free to do sweep or low kick techniques. Of course, you’ll tripped so easily while hopping on air position.

Why 1 Single Punch Better Than 100 Chain Punches

"100 Chain Punches" is popular fighting move often used in anime cartoons and movies. The fighter throw rapid multiple punches combo like machine gun.

But can it work in real fight? Based on my experience: No.

Combo punches are weak because your brain automatically weaken your own punch to give your lung and arm muscles a chance to doing high intesity - rapid motion. We are never able to do powerful punch and rapid punches at same time.

In real fight, throwing weak punches combo is suicide because your opponent can countering you with powerful single punch that will knock you immediately.

That the reason why 1 single punch better than 100 chain punches.
